CLIL for Vocational and Professional Education

As with Latvia entering the European Union the requirement of the labour market for high level of competence of the specialists in the English language becomes more and more topical it is necessary to provide the study process that can help the students become competitive after graduation from the University.

Many foreign companies and joint ventures operate in Latvia today. Knowing the English language helps to find a good job after graduation and make a carrier afterwards. Most of the jobs in our country require work with computers, documents, informative literature etc. in foreign languages and communication with people outside Latvia and also foreigners here.

We consider that acquiring English together with learning a special subject and vice versa motivates the future specialists to learn.
